Beaudesert is an established rural town within the Scenic Rim Regional Council LGA, approximately 42 radial kilometres west of the Gold Coast CBD and 58 radial kilometres south of the Brisbane CBD.  The locality is dominated by residential traditional low density detached housing to the centre of town and surrounding main thoroughfares.
